Bout of Books 14

Bout of Books

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 17th and runs through Sunday, August 23th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 14 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team

This is just a short update that I will be participating on Bout of Books 14 next week. It actually came as a surprise that it’s again next week, because I haven’t really been up to date with the bookish world over the summer. Still I am glad that I noticed it starting because I had so much fun last time I participated.

As for the goals of this read-a-thon, I don’t have any. The only thing I want to do is to complete the books I am currently reading/listening (The Republic o Thieves by Scott Lynch and You’re Never Weird on the Internet (Almost) by Felicia Day. That might happen also over the weekend before the start of Bout of Books, so my ultimate goal is to enjoy myself, maybe talk to new people and read as much (or little) I want over the week.

Are you participating on Bout of Books? What are your goals? Tell me down on the comments!

    • You’re Never Weird on the Internet (Almost) was a very good as an audio book. It’s narrated by Felicia Day and she just gives life to the stories from her past with her voice. So if you like Felicia Day, I definitely recommend it!
